We are pleased to present you with a Live Video feature on our site. You can use this application, along with your personal webcam, to stream a LIVE image of yourself through the Chatrooms or Instant Messenger. This enables more personal conversations with people you meet.

Our Live Video features require the Macromedia Flash Plug-in that needs to be installed on your computer. Once you install this program you can use the Live Video feature simply by joining a Chat Room or by Instant Messaging someone. When you want to quit the live feed simply close the program.

You may also include a prerecorded video clip for other members to view, even when you are not online. You may upload a video clip or use our built in Video Recorder. All videos must be approved before they become available.

In order for you to upload a video clip with your profile you must be able to produce your video on your computer and prepare it for upload to our servers. Please limit your media types to AVI and make sure the file size is under 5000KB.

We encourage you to be candid in your video and nudity is allowed. However, please use only a video of yourself... if you plan to use videos of others please be sure to get their permission before posting.

Absolutely NO scat, urine, underage, torture, or beastiality (whether real or implied) will be allowed. You may NOT use copyrighted videos; you must have permission to use the video you post. Offending videos will be removed immediately.

SeriousHookupsM4M.com, its owners, or employees do not encourage or discourage nudity or sexual expression on our site. We are neutral, but we are intent that our site be lawful and want members to be aware of the spots in the site where these are permitted and where they are not.

In a Nutshell…

Nudity:
Basically, nudity is allowed throughout the site, as it is not covered under 2257.

Sexually Explicit Photos and Videos:
Sexually explicit photos or videos are not allowed on profiles.

Sexual Expression In the Video, Audio and Tex Chat and in the IM features of the site:
In Video, audio or text chat, and on IM, we do not prohibit sexual expression, as it is constitutionally protected expression. We do not monitor IMs and we do not get involved heavily with monitoring the chatroom, as these are pieces of the site in which users communicate privately, as they would for example using the telephone or video phone, in a private conversation or conference (see below for details). We do, however, want to know if you think a user is abusing these features or other members. Notify us and we will take action.

Members have already signed off on the following disclaimer when they entered the site, but reading it again will help explain in detail our policy about nudity and sexual expression on our site (all specifics and rationale).

As for our chat, cam and audio chat and IM with cam and audio features, 2257does not apply to these for the following reasons:

These features are individual communications between users, broadcast privately to another user or users only. All users have certified themselves to be 18 years old or older upon joining the site (no visitors are allowed on the site, all must join either as free or paying members. ) By joining the member indicates that they understand they may view sexual expression, they want to view it, and consider it normal and healthy. Further, they certify that they are aware of their local, state and federal laws, and standards of decency and consider that nudity and sexual expression while using this service will not violate these. We are not responsible if they are violating these.

Members/users, by joining, indicate that their use of Video/Audio/Text Chat or IM features on our site constitutes a private communication between adults (like a private conversation on the telephone or video phone, or a conference call on the telephone or video phone). Since adult US citizens are guaranteed freedom of speech and expression (including sexual expression) in their private abodes or in private spaces, we allow this on our site between members.

Members/users signify by becoming a member of our site that they will only utilize these features in their abode or in a private space (where minors cannot view), and that they are 18 and won't involve minors in any way with their use of the IM or Chat portion of the site (or any portion of the site for that matter). We are not responsible for where they choose to use their computer, they are. We are released from any liability and any legal implications this might have... they are responsible for that.

Thus the communications, whether textual, audio or video, whether mundane or sexual in nature, are covered under freedom of speech and expression guaranteed by US law and constitution to all adults. US citizens and those visiting are free to express ourselves in word thought and deed in our own abodes, via communication devices. Citizens of other countries upon joining the site agree to utilize the service in accordance with the laws and standards of decency in their own communities, states, provinces, cities etc. The pictures audio or text conveyed when users use these features are not broadcast over the net to surfers at large. They are broadcast only to members of our site (who are all adults), and only to those members who choose to view hear or see it.

And just to be clear, once again, the owners of the site are not the primary producers of any of these private, user generated broadcasts using any of these features.
